Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces – Limited Activities Use Reminder

· Parks will take extra measures to keep open facilities clean and sanitized.

· Restrooms will be open with attendants to regulate use.

· Vehicle parking capacity in parks will be regulated, as necessary, to adhere to CDC social distancing guidelines.

· Police, park rangers and roving park teams will ensure compliance with these rules and CDC/State Health Department social distancing guidelines and manage park capacities, as necessary. Violators may be subject to applicable fines.

Golfer Check In / Registration

· Players are responsible for making a reservation online at https://www.golfmiamidade.com or by calling 855-GOLF-305 in advance of arriving to a golf course.

· Players will be responsible for bringing their golf equipment to a designated area.

· Players should always follow guidelines and registration information at each golf course remembering to maintain a minimum of 6 feet from other players.

· Players must wear face coverings and comply with 6 feet of social distancing.

· Registration will be conducted one golfer at a time maintaining 6-feet separation.

· Only credit cards will be acceptable for payment.

· Staff will wear gloves and face coverings to follow CDC guidelines.
· The practice range will be open with spacing set at ten-foot intervals.

· There will be no congregating at the clubhouse before or after the round.

·All common areas and equipment are continually disinfected throughout the day to include doors, bathrooms and all touchable surfaces of golf carts.

· We encourage golfers to also bring their own hand sanitizer and disinfectant.

 

Golf Course Rules of Play

· All golfers must always remain at least 6 feet apart and not share golf equipment.

· Only one player per cart. No exceptions!

· Please pick up scorecard and pencil at first tee. Discard when finished.

· Upon completion of play, players are responsible for removal of trash and recyclable bottles and cans from the golf cart. The golf cart will then be sanitized by staff.

· The cup liners will be raised above the ground. Do not touch the flagstick. Do not tamper with the cup liners.

· The U.S.G.A. is allowing scoring under this condition to be accepted for competition and handicap recording. Enter scores from home.

· All bunker rakes, water coolers, sand buckets have been removed. Ball washers are inoperable. (Players may bring their own water to the golf course.)

· Intentional and deliberate failure to abide by these rules will be subject to suspension of access to the facility.
